The guide profiles are show on the page. The calender shows basical avilable days for guide service to you. However, confirmation of booking status (OK or Not) will be sent to you within three(3) days normally.
If the calender is not attached to the profile, available days are not clear at that time and will be sent to you after the guide receives your request mail.
Also please check the available time of the guide.

Find out your selected guide on this page. Please click 'Mail to' button located at right of your selected guide.
Your mailer (like OUTLOOK or so) will open automatically. The email address and the title of your email are already typed out.

5. Correspondence between you and the guide




The guide will send back the return mail to you within three(3) days normally. Your booking status (OK or not) is in this return mail. Also this is the start of correspondence between you and the guide in order to finalize the tour plan, budget, meeting point, etc. based on your needs. The guide may ask you some questions to make your plan.

If 'Mail to' button in item 3 does not work properly, Please click red button titled 'Form Mail'. Then fill out the blanks.
In this case, your data filled out will be sent to the guide through TLG's web site. The guide will send back the return mail to you within four(4) days.

Step 2 Correspondence

Prepareation
The tour plan will be made based on your requests, needs, hope and idea. Itinerary will be reasonable with using public transportation such as regular operated trains, subways and buses. If you have a plan to procure special pass like JR pass, please let the guide know. Through correspondence by email, the guide will finalize your plan.
The guide may be your good adviser for your stay in Tokyo.
The guide fee will be proposed to you based of the guide fee policy in the page 'Guide Fee Policy' in this web site.(Click 'Fee' Button.)
In case that the guide has a trouble and will not be able to guide you, the guide and our staff try our best to find another guide for you. If we can not find the suitable guide for you, we inform by email or leave our message to your hotel.
Reconfirmation
The guide may contact your hotel or your flight staff to check your reservation status for secure meeting with you.
Also the guide may contact you in your hotel one day before in order to reconfirm your booking of the guide.

Step 3 Guiding

Meeting (Guide Service, Course Service)
The guide will go to you hotel to meet you. you have to wait for the guide at specified point and time. You must pay the guide fee to the guide in cash by Japanese Yen at the hotel before the guiding service. After that, you shall pay all touring costs such as transportation fare, entrance fees and meals by yourself. Such costs for the guide are also paid by you.
The guide will issue the reciept.
Meeting (Port Welcome Service)
The guide will go to the specified point in the airport and be waiting for you with your name board. You have to proceed to the specified point after clearing the imigration and custom. Also you have to prepare Japanese yen. You must pay the guide fee to the guide in cash by Japanese Yen before the guiding service. After that, you shall pay all touring costs such as transportation fare, such as meals and drinks by yourself up to your hotel. Such costs for the guide are also paid by you.
Guiding
The guide will guide you based on the agreed plan , however the plan may be changed and the guide does not garantee the schedule and budget due to new requests from you and unexpected climate and trafic conditions, etc.
The guide will guide for all members of your group, however the guide may not take care of all of them. Members of your group shall follow the guide on thier responsibility. The guide try his or her best to follow you and your group members.However,the guide do not have any responsibility, if members of group are missed during guiding.
End of Guiding
The guide will guide you and your group up to your hotel. However, if you and the guide agree, the guiding will be finished at any place. At that case, you shall pay transportation fare for the guide to return to your hotel or home of the guide whichever cheaper.
You shall pay the extra guide fee, if guiding hour is over than the time which you have paid. If you stop guiding eariler than the original time, guide fee paid already shall not be returned to you. If the guide want to stop the guide due to the reason of the guide, guide fee remaind will be back to you.

Our Policies

Acceptance of the following policies, terms and conditions is required to book a guide and to get guide services.
1. About TOKYO LICENSED GUIDE
Our TOKYO LICENSED GUIDE, hereafter referred TLG, is the group of Licensed Guides who provide guiding services to our guests in order to enjoy guests’ original tours in Tokyo and its vicinity.

2. Licensed Guide
Licensed Guide members are entitled to be professional (paid) guide in order to guide people anywhere in Japan in foreign languages like English, Spanish, German, etc. by the Government under the law of Interpreter Guide License.

3. Expenses
Addition to guide fee, Guests are responsible for the following expenses:
• TRAVEL EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE GUIDE while conducting a tour for the guests. These include any and all public transportation fees incurred after meeting the guest at the appointed meeting place. Guests are not responsible for costs incurred by the guide while traveling to or from the meeting place both before and after the tour period.
• ADMISSION FEES to museums, temples, events etc. incurred by the guide while providing guide services.
• MEALS eaten by the guide while providing his or her services to the guest(s).

4. Inappropriate Conduct
Our guides reserve the right to terminate guide services at any point during the tour if the guest(s) exhibit any of the following behavior:
• UNSAFE or ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR.
• INAPPROPRIATE SEXUAL BEHAVIOR or advances. This includes sexual behavior initiated by the guest(s) toward the guide, occurring among the guest(s) and or that initiated by the guest(s) toward persons outside of the tour group.
• INTOXICATION AND ILLICIT DRUG ABUSE.
• REFUSING to cover expenses incurred by the guide as outlined in the above section on expenses.
• ANY CONDUCT, BEHAVIOR, OR ACTION that the guide feels is inappropriate or offensive or reflects poorly upon his or her self or us.

5. Statement of Limited Liability
Guides are not responsible for any illnesses, injuries, thefts, losses, or any resulting damages incurred by the guest(s) while using our services. The guest(s) accept(s) full responsibility for any damages, injuries, or losses that he/she/they may incur while using our services.

6. Right to Refuse Service, Conflicts of Interest
Guides can refuse to offer its services and/or terminate its services to the guest(s) at any point for the following reasons:
• The guest(s) provide(s) false information through the emails exchanges between guest(s) and the guide
• The guest(s) attempt(s) to profit or gain monetarily by reselling our services
• The guest(s) paid for or received a referral to our services by a for-profit entity such as a travel agency.
• The guest(s) request(s) to engage in “sexual tourism ” in any form or fashion. This includes but is not limited to requests to visit brothels, sexual goods shops, adult book stores and other similar venues which we deems inappropriate for its guide services.
• The guide(s) may cancel appointments with due notice if unavoidable reasons or extreme circumstances (e.g., extreme weather conditions, natural disaster, etc.) occur.
